Overview

Eden Carrison-Kitch practices patent litigation and prosecution, helping clients protect and enforce their intellectual property, including life sciences innovations.

Eden's path to patent law began with a longstanding interest in science, particularly genetics, which she pursued by earning both a Bachelor of Science in Genetics and a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Society from Purdue University, graduating with an Honors designation from the John Martinson Honors College. After graduating, she worked as a Research Assistant at Labcorp Drug Development, analyzing biological and chemical samples and validating testing methodologies for pharmaceutical clients.

She went on to earn her J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law, where she served as Symposium Editor for the Wake Forest Journal of Business and Intellectual Property Law and as a Teaching Assistant for Legal Analysis, Writing, & Research. Her prior legal experience includes a judicial externship with the Hon. Julee Flood of the North Carolina Court of Appeals, where she conducted legal research and prepared bench memoranda for both civil and criminal appeals.
