Partner Jennifer Maisel ("Jen") is quoted in a New Scientist article titled "AI recreates clip of Pink Floyd song from recordings of brain activity" by Carissa Wong published on August 15, 2023.

Brain activity recordings were taken while people listened to Pink Floyd's song Another Brick in the Wall, Part 1. By analyzing the participants' brain signals, artificial intelligence was able to create a snippet of the song that was 43 percent similar to the real song clip. However, as the technology develops and the songs created using brain activity become similar to the original songs, copyright infringement issues may arise.

“The authorship question is really fascinating,” Jen told New Scientist. “Would the person who records the brain activity be the author? Could the AI program itself be the author? The interesting thing is, the author may not be the person who’s listening to the song.”
