While the recent emergence of generative AI technologies has ushered in a new realm of opportunities, it has also unleashed a myriad of complex challenges for copyright, trademark, and other IP rights. What’s more, AI-assisted inventions have been calling IP rights into question, and the USPTO has just released its new AI inventorship guidance causing significant implications for the patent community.
