Dan Shores and Andrew Storaska at University of Miami Research Commercialization Fellowship Program to Discuss IP Law

Partner Dan Shores and Patent Agent & Scientific Advisor Andrew Storaska will speak to advanced graduate and medical students who are part of the Research Commercialization Fellowship program at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine (UMMSM) about their career journeys in intellectual property law and a day in the life for them from the IP lens.

The fellowship is designed to identify and facilitate translation of innovative research conducted by UMMSM faculty and to provide UMMSM students with valuable training at the intersection of research and the business of life sciences. Fellows will identify cutting-edge research with commercial potential and serve as a bridge to the U Innovation team, providing marketing and commercialization development support throughout the process for each respective technology.
