Rothwell Figg and firm partner and co-founder E. Anthony Figg have been named finalists for the LSPN Awards USA 2026, which recognize innovation, excellence, and leadership in the life sciences sector. The awards honor the individuals and organizations shaping the future of pharmaceutical and biotechnology patent protection.

Rothwell Figg is a finalist for IP Boutique of the Year, a category celebrating best-in-class, highly specialized IP boutique law firms that deliver deep technical and legal expertise, strong commercial awareness, and exceptional client service in the life sciences industry.

Tony is a finalist for the Lifetime Achievement Award, which honors a lawyer whose distinguished, decades-long career has left an indelible mark on the life sciences IP landscape. This award recognizes individuals who have inspired generations of practitioners, advanced innovation, fostered collaboration, and built a legacy that will endure for years to come.

Each category is evaluated by a panel of three to four expert judges selected for their relevant experience and subject-matter expertise. Categories are thoughtfully matched with judges best positioned to assess exceptional work in that specific area. The selection process includes two rounds: an initial phase of independent scoring, followed by a deliberation round in which the judging panel convenes for collaborative discussion.

Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on April 30.
