Brian Rosenbloom Elected to Fellows of the American Bar Foundation

Rothwell Figg partner Brian Rosenbloom has been elected to the Fellows of the American Bar Foundation (ABF). The Fellows comprise a global honorary society of attorneys, judges, law faculty, and legal scholars whose public and private careers have demonstrated outstanding dedication to the highest principles of the legal profession and to the welfare of their communities. Membership in the Fellows is limited to one percent of lawyers licensed to practice in each jurisdiction. Fellows are recommended by their peers and elected by the Board of the American Bar Foundation. Established in 1955, Fellows support the research of the American Bar Foundation through annual contributions and sponsor seminars and events of direct relevance to the legal profession.

Brian has over 20 years of experience in the intellectual property (IP) field and advises a wide range of clients (including Fortune 100 companies, independent inventors, entrepreneurs, and emerging businesses) in all aspects of patent and related intellectual property matters. A substantial portion of his practice is focused on patent portfolio development and management. Brian has helped develop and manage diverse portfolios ranging from dozens of patents to hundreds of patents. Another significant portion of his practice is the preparation and prosecution of patent applications in a broad range of technologies and fields, including telecommunications, wireless networking, cloud computing, blockchain, ad-serving, and other software applications. Brian’s practice also involves patent litigation matters in Federal Court, as well as before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, including post-grant proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board and reexaminations.
