Rothwell Figg's client Equator Pure Nature Co., Ltd. (EPN), developer of patented pineapple-fermentation technology and owner of Pipper Standard® natural home, laundry, baby, personal and pet care products, has continued to expand the commercial applications of its intellectual property since receiving Thailand's prestigious “IP Champion 2023” award.
For more than 10 years, Rothwell Figg has served as EPN's intellectual property counsel, helping protect the company's proprietary pineapple-fermentation. The technology produces natural acids, biosurfactants and enzymes used in Pipper Standard® products covering cleaning, softeners and other applications. The firm has worked with EPN to determine which jurisdictions to pursue patent protection. Patents covering the technology have been granted in the United States, Europe, China, India, Indonesia and Thailand, approximately 70% of the world's GDP.
