Rothwell Figg is pleased to partner with the Georgetown University Venture Lab and Georgetown Start-up Accelerator (collectively, GSA), which brings together Georgetown alumni entrepreneurs in early stage startup companies with experienced mentors, peers, and top subject matter experts to help accelerate their businesses.
In the newly formed partnership, attorneys in Rothwell Figg’s Emerging Companies team will offer affordable legal services related to intellectual property to GSA member companies, as well as provide free seminars, webinars, and other presentations. Rothwell Figg joins other GSA legal, tech, and accounting partners, including Amazon Web Services, Marcum Strategic Marketing, Foley & Lardner LLP, and VentureCount.
GSA is a startup accelerator run by Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business. Participating companies have the opportunity to work 1:1 with experienced mentors; set short and long-term company growth metrics; attend weekly workshops with guest speakers; learn alongside a community of peer entrepreneurs; and present their companies at a Demo Day in front of investors. To be eligible for the program, at least one founder must be an alumni of Georgetown University in Washington, DC.
