Partner R. Danny Huntington will be at speaker at the FICPI World Congress 2025 taking place October 12-17, 2025, in Naples, Italy. Danny's breakout session, "Inventorship: who, what, when, where, how, and why?" will take place on October 15, 2025.
In the session, Danny and co-panelists we will don their detective hats to focus on the legal nature of inventorship across various jurisdictions. They will consider the requirements of inventorship and how best to obtain the information needed to conduct an inventorship analysis; discuss what can happen if an incorrect person is listed as an inventor or an inventor is omitted, how AI can affect inventorship, and how to correct inventorship when necessary; and provide a step-by-step approach to determining inventorship according to best practice across the jurisdictions covered.
The FICPI World Congress is an opportunity to strengthen existing relationships and create new ones, driven by FICPI's focus on bringing independent IP attorneys from around the globe together to connect, share knowledge and grow.
FICPI is the only international NGO whose membership consists entirely of IP attorneys in private practice. As a result, the FICPI community is driven by a shared interest among like-minded people to promote common solutions and advocacy for private IP practitioners.
