Patrick Moon’s practice focuses on patent prosecution and counseling with an emphasis in the electrical and computer engineering fields. He works with domestic and foreign-based clients to obtain patent protection for a wide array of technologies including telecommunications, mobile devices, graphical user interfaces, semiconductors, displays, and touch panels, among others.
Prior to joining Rothwell Figg, Mr. Moon worked for many years as a patent examiner at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), where he examined applications in the field of mobile devices, graphical user interfaces, image data processings, semiconductors, displays, and touch panels. While working at the USPTO, Mr. Moon attended The George Washington University Law School and received his J.D. degree in 2019. Additionally, Mr. Moon worked as a software engineer at a start-up company while attending undergraduate school.
