Prominent Trademark Attorney, Brian E. Banner, Joins Rothwell, Figg, Ernst & Manbeck

Rothwell, Figg, Ernst & Manbeck is pleased to announce that Brian E. Banner has joined the firm in an Of Counsel position.  Mr. Banner is an internationally recognized expert in the fields of trademark, copyright, domain name and unfair competition law.  He specializes in counseling clients regarding the protection, enforcement, defense of and licensing of intellectual property.  Prior to joining Rothwell Figg, his thirty-year career has included serving as a Trademark Examining Attorney in the United States Patent and Trademark Office, corporate counsel for Monsanto Company and Munsingwear, Inc., and the private practice of law.  Mr. Banner is the Editor of the trademark law treatise, “Trademark Infringement Remedies.”  He is an adjunct faculty member of the Intellectual Property Program at George Mason University School of Law.  He is an active member of the International Trademark Association, the American Intellectual Property Law Association and the Section of Intellectual Property Law of the American Bar Association.  Mr. Banner received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Arizona in Tucson and his law degree from the John Marshall Law School of Chicago.
