Rothwell, Figg, Ernst & Manbeck attorneys petition human rights commission for investigation of anti-semitic attacks in Venezuela

On Thursday, April 23 Rothwell, Figg, Ernst & Manbeck attorneys Steven Lieberman and Matthew Stephens filed a petition with the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights requesting an investigation into government instigated anti-Semitism in Venezuela. The petition was filed on behalf of Amcha - The Coalition of Jewish Concerns and Sammy Eppel, a Jewish citizen of Venezuela.

The petition focuses on a pattern of attacks against the Jewish community in Venezuela and asks the Commission to investigate the role of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez in instigating these attacks.
