BRIAN A. TOLLEFSON Member
Mr. Tollefson focuses his practice on patent and computer related intellectual property matters, including preparation and prosecution of patent applications, patent infringement litigation (plaintiff and defense), patent opinions (freedom to operate, validity, and patentability), software licensing and related subjects. He also counsels clients on patent strategies, due diligence, portfolio development, and implementation of strategic intellectual property plans.
Prior to law school, Mr. Tollefson worked for nearly a decade in private industry as a software engineer and project manager. He has broad work experience with a variety of technologies, including computer hardware and software, databases, memory devices, telecommunications, Internet and e-commerce, medical devices, security devices, business methods, and apparel.
