"It is with our deepest regret to inform our colleagues and clients that our long-time friend and firm co-founder, Frank Rothwell, passed away unexpectedly on December 25, 2011. We are most grateful for the numerous expressions of condolences and support from Frank’s many friends and professional colleagues."

Mr. Rothwell practices across the full spectrum of intellectual property law and specializes in counseling and dispute resolution, including litigation.  He prosecuted many hundreds of U.S. and foreign patent and trademark applications in the last 50 years and has been active in the areas of opinions and intellectual property contracts.  He handled numerous jury and non-jury trials and many more negotiated settlements involving patents, trade secrets, trademarks, service marks, copyrights and false advertising.  He has taken appeals to all but two of the regional circuit courts of appeal.
