Mr. Battaglia brings to Rothwell, Figg, Ernst & Manbeck six years of experience as a patent examiner at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), where he focused on the field of dynamic information storage and retrieval, worked as a training assistant in the USPTO’s Patent Academy, and represented examiners on a joint labor-management committee.  Mr. Battaglia left the USPTO as a primary examiner with full signatory authority.  While working at the USPTO, he attended the George Washington University Law School and received his J.D. degree in 2009.

Mr. Battaglia’s practice is focused primarily on patent prosecution and litigation in the field of electrical and computer engineering.
