LEO M. LOUGHLIN OF COUNSEL
Mr. Loughlin's practice focuses on advising clients on a wide-variety of intellectual property matters, including patent, trademark, unfair competition, copyright, false advertising, licensing, litigation and counseling. He has experience in all aspects of federal district court litigation of intellectual property matters and in opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Mr. Loughlin also counsels clients on trademark strategies, including selection, clearance and portfolio management.
Born in Kingston, New York, Mr. Loughlin graduated from Manhattan College in 1993 where he received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and he received his Juris Doctor degree in 1998 from Albany Law School. Mr. Loughlin was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1999 and the District of Columbia Bar in 2002. Mr. Loughlin was admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office in 1998.
Ms. Loughlin is a member of the District of Columbia Bar Association; the American Bar Association; and the International Trademark Association.
