Mr. Ihnen's practice focuses on the fields of biotechnology and chemistry, including genes, proteins and peptides, neuropeptides, monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies, steroids, diagnostics, molecular biology, immunology, virology, biochemistry, pharmaceuticals, medical therapies, plants, cell culture and organic chemistry. He has extensive experience in patent application preparation and all aspects of U.S. and foreign patent prosecution. He provides counseling to clients on development and implementation of patent strategies, technology transfer, research and development agreements, infringement and validity issues and market clearance of products, and he has performed technology audits. In addition, he has experience in ex parte trademark matters.
