SETH E. COCKRUM, PH.D.

Dr. Cockrum graduated with Honors from Butler University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry. In 2006, he graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology. His doctoral work focused on the use of nucleic acids for both detection and therapeutic purposes. In 2009, Dr. Cockrum received his J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center.

While in law school, Dr. Cockrum participated in the ABA National Appellate Advocacy Competition and was a Regional Champion in 2008. In recognition of his oral advocacy skills, Dr. Cockrum was inducted into the Order of the Barristers. Dr. Cockrum was also active as an officer in the Intellectual Property Student Organization.
