Dr. Cassidy's practice includes preparation and prosecution of patent applications before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, client counseling and opinion work concerning patentability, validity and infringement of patents and market clearance of products. Dr. Cassidy also has extensive experience in patent litigation, including Hatch-Waxman litigation. Her technical expertise includes pharmaceuticals and pharmaceutical excipients, protein biochemistry, immunology, biotechnology, agricultural sciences, organic chemistry, diagnostics and imaging, medical devices and other areas in both the life sciences and chemistry.
